Love all the spot illustrations!

A cracked looking glass has turned Alice’s wonderland into a superstition-land, mostly bad, but a glimmer of hope with the glimpse of a rabbit’s foot.

Here's my entry, thanks to those that helped me out with this.

This is a spot illustration I did for my postcards for the LA SCBWI summer conference coming up. It fits the theme with the witch’s Hidden Agenda for Hansel and Gretel

Sometimes you need a shoulder to cry on but other times it is time for a distraction.

Here's mine. Thanks @ShannonBiondi for putting this together. When we need them most, our loved ones can feel near.

So I was’t sure I was going to get this done. But I have been working on character consistency. I still have a lot to practice! I have enjoyed looking at all the entries.

Thanks for the feedback. I added some steam from the pot, and got rid of the green, trying to not have so many different colors. I also changed the angle of the head slightly to make a better gesture.

Working on a few pieces for my daughter’s room, this is the first one

Questions: do you think this is too simple? Does it need more cooking things?
Do you read this as the yeti was juggling and now the food is going in the pot?
What do you think about the gesture?

@SaherYosry not sure you need the bird on the right, my eye keeps looking over there but I would rather focus on the other bird and the yeti.

Maybe not repeat the book illustrations in the children’s illustration? They are different categories so it is a bit redundant. Overall your website looks great!

This is a tradition I have loved since I was a child. I hope I am passing this on to my kids, they seem to enjoy it also, when I let them help!
