And yes, I'm looking forward to calling it complete! I've probably taken way too much time on it if I want to ever do this for a living, haha.

Just wanted to say that this is really nice and I want to see how it turns out, so I'm following. And I went back and read the whole thread, so thanks for linking.

I'm doing a 25 things and that's complicated enough, so kudos! These can take quite a while, and tangents and other trip ups are everywhere, so hang in there. It will be worth it!

Just wanted to stick my head in to say that I love your piece! You have hit this assignment spot on. I did a draw over just to show that you can push it even further with the foreground and you can get even more objects in close if you wanted. Draw over.jpg

Hi Everyone!

Here it is! My #draw50things illustration is complete! After months of work (probably should get a little faster, haha) I'm ready to put it in my portfolio.

@JoshuaDages I'm so impressed with these 50 things illustrations. Yours is really outstanding! Your tight detailed rendering is so well done and complete. I struggle with that. This makes me want to go and finish that class.

@djlambson Thank you! I really liked the project idea and is one of the reasons I signed up for SVS in the first place.

I usually don't do super detailed pieces like this either, but I took it one section at a time, and was really proud how it turned out. You totally should continue with the class and I'd love to see what your looks like!
