Great interview, great work. Jealous that you look out at a castle but I know it gets darn cold there too! Look forward to seeing more of your work and your thought processes.

@randarrington thank you

@kathrynadebayo thank you

@larue thank you. Yes it’s very cold here after an unseasonably warm new year. I’m starting back to doing work today wearing a lot of layers of clothes 🥶

Birding is the best! @lizardillo and @LauraA, if you all have birding websites or portfolios of your birds I'd love to check them out. I'm a birder that carries binoculars as well as camera so I've got a few favorites here: instagram.com/finches2falcons

@David Oh cool! Love the photos, especially that Black-throated Green looking straight at the viewer. And a kinglet! Cutest birds ever!
No website here. Just a lot of fond memories of wandering around Central Park with my daughter. You'd never know it was one of the best birding spots in the country. I miss American birds sometimes, even though the European Robin is adorable!
I have never drawn many birds, but my CBPro dummy is going to feature some. Thanks for sharing!

@david Wow such great photos! I've followed you on IG with my personal account (lizzyophoto). All those warblers are such amazing colours. I can spot some birds that I recognise but I think we have different names for them (e.g. I think our Goldcrest may be your Kinglet). I have some bird photos on my personal IG but it's not devoted entirely to birds, there's some campervan and dinner photos too!
We nearly have the same set-up although mine isn't quite as good as yours - I have a Canon 80D and the Sigma 150-600 Contemporary. I find it really difficult hand-holding that lens still!

Great interview @lizardillo! Congratulations! Love your work and hope your mentorship helps you reach your goals this year.

@ruth thanks Ruth. I had my first mentor session and I am trying to combine my assignment with this month’s Tiger prompt but finding it quite difficult. I hoping to work towards looking for an agent but that’s a far fetched dream at the minute.

@david I too am a birder and just started posting photos to an Instagram account last summer at ljdemott I’m going to follow you and @lizardillo — you have some great shots and I love seeing the birds from a different part of the world. Mine are a lot of eastern bluebirds which I’m a bit fanatic about.
