@Rebecca-Hirsch Congratulations! It's such a fun, expressive piece. Now I'm wondering after reading Tomie's comment... so how much does your character look like how you would've looked as a kid? 🙂

@DanetteDraws Pretty close, actually. Ash blond ponytails, a brown corduroy jacket with bell bottomed jeans and sneakers (well, it was the 70's after all). Jumping off my swing pretending to fly was something I did on almost a daily basis. We had pointy winter hats back them, stood up like a cone on your head, ha. I could've bumped up the corduroy color a bit and gave it some texture. Something to think about.

@Rebecca-Hirsch haha nice! Now that you mention it, I definitely see the 70's influence. In that case, I don't think there's much you could do to make it look "more you" as a kid 😃

@Rebecca-Hirsch But the corduroy texture could be cool though. I wore corduroy pants in the 90's too, in early highschool - although then it wasn't bell bottoms, it was more of a super baggy straight-leg and you'd wear a chain hanging outside of your pocket that connected to a wallet lol Also, if you could get away with it, you'd pair the baggy pants with a crop top that showed off your belly (sometimes I did, but I'd have to leave the house with a sweatshirt over top so my parents didn't see!). Strange fashion now when I think back.
