Stray puppy

I love that puppy! Such a cute and simplistic design. His little pin-like legs are my favorite. Your Otter drawing is nice, but he doesn't match the style of Puppy. Puppy is very simplified, has lots of big shapes, and is a little funky (in a good way!). Otter on the other hand is much more realistic. I'd say play with his proportions and simplify his design.

@Shannon-Perkins Thanks Shannon for the comment, yes I thought it was kind of too realistic as well due to the body structure, I redesign him this way instead and hope it matches better.

@Steve-Young @daiolupo Thank you so much for the kind comment. Here my spread test. I used to have left one as a circle then I realized that they were competing with each other too much so I changed left spread to square instead.

Aww thanks for all complements guys I really appreciate it. I really need to find an editor to help with editing my text once i'm done with all of these.
I think this is what I want to call the story
"Buddy and Olly" or "The return of the shell necklace"

@Naroth-Kean this is going to be so good! Are you going to call him stray puppy the whole time? Does he become Buddy later on in the story? Just curious. In the first sentence "always" is spelled wrong, sorry it's the teacher in me. I can't wait to see more!!
