I love each and every piece of this series. It seems every line is at the right place and there is no needless line. This is what I am struggling most while inking: very often it turns out to be too dark, because of hatching to much. I think I will use your pieces for practicing.
Thanks for sharing! -
@Jana Thanks! i'm so glad you find inspiration in my work. I absolutely love cartooning for that reason (a place for every line and a every line in it's place.) it fits my somewhat minimalistic lifestyle. (or should i say my 'poor' life style... and i just cant afford to use too much ink but honestly, i often wish i was able to use bold dark areas with better control. i sometimes wonder if it's my emotional attachment to each and every line that keeps me from covering them up with "too much black." so until i'm able to let go, i've just embraced this as my "style" and look forward to developing it over the years. thanks again Jana, and keep up the good work, i would love to see your practice pieces some time.

@Naters-Calderone Kudos! That is quite a feat. I pooped out not even halfway through.

@shinjifujioka thanks. it was a really fun challenge. I can't wait to scan, edit, and plug them into the book.
