My final version of my piece. I stated in my WIP thread that my computer really began to lag when getting into the effects and multiple layers. It's a bit frustrating but I have new PC parts on the way!

With an hour left on this slowvember, Pop Pop Squirrel has finally finished storing food away for winter.

This is my mouse who goes on all sorts of little adventures in my drawings, he is always traveling somewhere but I don't know where. I don't know what to call it yet, since no pun-iful title has come to mind. I did this in watercolor, pastels, colored pencil, and ink on hot press, 10"by 20".

I did this for Slowvember, but I completely forgot to post my images. But I will post them anyway because I entered the comforting fireplace image in an SCBWI contest and did not win. If you're willing, please give comments as to why I probably didn't win. However, I had fun adding to my portfolio. I also created a 3-page magazine spread for pre-teens with an article I wrote, but I am not posting that because I would like to try to get it published.

Great work guys!! A lot of beautiful illustrations in this thread.
This Slowvember I decided to add a cover book design to my portfolio.
This is the final result. I'll post the process in another thread.
I added a simple animation to my illustration.

@marsha-kay-ottum-owen mostly 16x20 image on an 18x22 inch paper. That's because it's big enough to be sloppy with the paint and is a standard size for framing.
