I started painting today....still will do some touch ups, etc.

Still wet. For the cover I wonder if it's too blue in the background. I might be able to tone it down or maybe when it's completely dry it will look better. I still want to add some shading under the chicken on the upper legs and a little on the eyeballs of the chicken. I think I will add rounded segment lines to the feet. I won't make any major changes though. The goal is to finish it and make it look good enough so I can do better on the next one!

Title page-should I add anything as far as color goes? Does the fly need a few spots of of blue along the flight line? Should I darken the blue around the chicken at all? More shadow under the chicken? Thanks.

Still have lots to do here but here it is so far today. I'm going to take a break. I can still see lots of little areas to work on. I'm going to try and solve them myself so I can learn to see things better. I may ask for feedback after I think I've done all that I can on my own. it's a personal project after all so I don't need to worry about wrecking it for someone else Thanks.
