@Leontine I'm not really happy with this piece but posting because it is hedgehog-themed :-)... I drew it because the other day my husband came home saying, 'there aren't any good cards in the shops, can't you draw something?'.. So here we go..it was a quick job and I'm not satisfied yet with the way I combine ink lines with my colour...I think I generally need to ink more of the values, and less of the outline.
PP WIP- in the mood for hedgehogs

Thanks, Leontine (@leontine). Glad you like it.
This is done in GIMP. I made the line work traditionally and colored the scanned image digitally. When I need straight lines or smooth curves I use the path tool. When I make a piece purely digitally, I also make my line work with the path tool.
The funny thing is, I have PS for a while, but I am so adapted to GIMP that I hesitate to make the step towards PS.When I tried PS I was so stressed, because I could not find easily what I usually like to use in GIMP, that I thought: Okay, let's do this later and go back to your comfort zone.

@Dulcie Its so lovely! Wouldn't any kid be happy getting postcards like this?
Then when you make something like this once a week, in half a year, you can publish your own card-line! wouldn't that be awesome?! your style is really very appealing! Chapeau! -
Thanks @Leontine ...creating a card range is on my to-do list!
