I've been MIA a while, published my first book this year!!! Still have a lot to learn about working with digital, but these prompts are a good way to get back at it again. I love drawing, but worked for 3 days to get the colors so that I liked them. This is titled: First day of school.

@StudioLooong The paintings of the cats behind her are fantastic! Especially the unicorn cat fish! Its also refreshing to see an older mermaid instead of a young whipper snapper! Love it!! :smiling_face_with_open_mouth_smiling_eyes:

Yesterday I played with procreate(usually using only for sketching), I am always painting clean,with clean lines and everything in Photoshop, but not yesterday, this was very raw, sketchy and unclean drawing with colors and I liked it and had lot of fun doing it...it was difficult for me not to correct everything..because I never draw in such style...

My piece for this month's art contest: "Message in a bottle"
This was such a fun challenge I seized the opportunity to create something new for my portfolio.
It's the first time I really mixed traditional and digital together and I liked working that way!Good luck everyone - it was fun to watch all of your entries!

@Sarah-LuAnn I don't know your usual style, but I do like your troutmaid very much. The trout surrounding her are beautiful, and I really like that the freshwater mermaids are finally getting the attention they deserve
