Considering signing-up for the monthly subscription on SVS or purchasing isolated courses. To anyone who has taken them, which helped you improve the most? Any insight you have would be sincerely appreciated 🙂

All of the classes have a ton of value. I'm a subscriber and I'm working thru the composition class right now, which I should have started with, and man... Just a ton of stuff that would take an entire year at school to learn can be ingested and applied in 12hrs. Also loved the Mixed Media class, just finished that last week. So good.

I also like to jump around between classes depending on what I feel like working on, so I have a few classes going at a time at various stages of finish. Which is nice to have the flexibility. Also $12 a month is pretty affordable as far as subscriptions go.

        Can't recommend SVS enough.

        Best,

        Kendra

@Pixby One important thing to know is that if you subscribe you get a pretty nice discount on the purchase price all of the classes 🙂

I would definitely recommend subscribing. It's not much to pay considering the sheer volume of courses you can work through at your leisure, and the quality overall is really high. I've watched 11 of them so far, I think..the most interesting ones were Mixed Media and Color & Light, if I had to choose any. But really I've gained so many useful nuggets from each one. I know there are lots more good ones still to watch... and they're adding new courses too, so if you're subscribed you don't need to worry about whether you can afford the new ones when they're added.

Recommendations on individual courses are just that, individual assessments, that might not help you since each person took said course to help them in something they personally felt they wanted help in... what I can say is that they ALL have something great to offer, some more than most depending on the person. And SUBBING is the best way to get access to them.

That said, join the 3rd Thursday monthly challenge at a chance to win 2 free classes of your choice to KEEP!

Every one I've taken has helped me improve and learn more about the industry! I recommend subscribing because the content is phenomenal and buying each one will be a large expense.
