It is not really a tutorial, it is more about the artist showing her process. I would have not thought of working the way she does, the result is just outstanding!
Maybe it could give you ideas for Inktober?

Thanks, @Julia, for suggesting this. I just watched the video. Very interesting! I love the effects she gets. I want to try that. I also never though of matte medium between pencil and pen.

Thank you for posting this! It did give me an idea for Inktober. I have orange pencil drawings. I was haveing trouble figuring out how I would ink a hand. I am going to try to desaturate digitally and use that to begin my inking, so I don't lose my sketched gray tones. I have a book on character design and the artist draws with graphite pencil over the colored pencil to clean up the sketch before inking. I might do that first.
