Kelly’s Inktober Comic Project
-
I played with some ink washes and tested a bunch of ink pens and how they hold up to bleeding when wet. I also wanted to test how much water my Canson Bristol paper could handle, as expected ....not a lot. But I wanted to post my tests because it might help people who are playing with ink or trying to buy ink products.

This is great. Thanks for sharing.

I got all 31 pages penciled and ready for inking! Here are a few more pages from the story.
-
@K-Flagg how big are you working? I’m doing a comic as well and the paper size i should use is throwing me off.
-
@jaepereira I am using the traditional comic size pages that are 11x17. I originally envisioned a square format but I thumbnailed the whole book that way and some of my favorite scenes I was excited about didn't really work as well in a square so I switched it up. I suggest thumbnails first and make sure it lays out how you want. Also I know I have the time right now to do full 11x17 pages. The bigger your pages are the more time you will need so I would keep that in mind also when making your decision
