Favorite chapter book cover/interior illustrators?

I'm doing some character sketches and a book cover for a chapter book manuscript, and I'm researching what's already out there. What are some of your favorites? I think this is for younger readers - first and second grade, possibly. The main character is an 8 year old girl. Thanks!

My fav is Julia Sarda, there are several MG she illustrated, all of them wonderful.
Felicita Sala's Big foot and little foot series is fun too, but I read the whole books, so I am not sure if it is because of the story or because of her illustration.
Sydney Smith did the first two books for Fitzgerals Trouts, both are great (again I read the whole book, so not sure if it is because the stories or purely because of his illustration). For the third book in this series the publisher changed illustrator ...
Also the first three Harry Potter books illustrated by Jim Kay, not a big fan of the fourth book...
