@Molambo what do you mean by normal run? If you are one of the winners from any of the critique arena in 2020 you are considered and all star. Your submission would be entered into the all star critique arena. If you didn't win, then you would be in the normal monthly critique arena. I hope that helps.

@powsupermum the forum will limit the size of the upload. I forget what the max is but i would keep it under a 1MB if possible.

Are they going to be at the same time? I'd like to watch both! And is Lee critiquing both of them? I think this solves a lot of issues that I had felt with it. I stopped participating because I felt like it was unfair since everyone was in a different spot in skill, but I love this idea! Hopefully it works smoothly.

@Miranda-Branley hi! The traditional and all star Critique Arenas are going to be held a week apart, the traditional will be on Dec 10, and the all star will be on Dec 17. Not sure yet who will be judging, but it's safe to say that Lee will be on deck for at least one of them. Hopefully it goes smoothly, but it's a first for us, so just know that anything can happen We'll do our best!

I think I have bin overthinking and over doing my other entries in this contest so this time I decided to try making it simple, sticking to my old style but in new medium. My favorite characters, fox and bear sticking together even do it´s winter and the bear should be sleeping.
Analog sketch and then digital painting in procreate.

An article concerning a family that was torn apart by a senseless car crash (teenagers street racing) moved me recently. The parents died and the children survived but with significant injuries. It made me think about the anguish the children must be experiencing, especially during the holidays when friends and family normally gather together in the warmth and security of their homes. The sense of togetherness must take on a completely different meaning for them. Having experienced the loss of many loved ones, I too have begun to see togetherness in a different light. There is a sense of joy mingled with sorrow ... a deep appreciation but an ineffable sense of grief.
