@donnamakesart Ohhh this is quite nice. I really like where the shadow tone transitions from the house to the floor is a really cool effect of snow that you don't notice as much until you're drawing it

@DaveLeekArt Solid! I really need to work on simplifying trees... I feel like I get caught in the weeds on detailing trees, then I see how other people draw trees and can't help but feel like I'm wasting a bunch of time lol

Thanks @jdubz , I’ve been working to do the same! You learn early on that rookies overdo the details and pros make it look detailed through expertly placed simplicity. I’m trying to get closer to that end of the spectrum and the trees in this piece were an experiment. I’m glad to hear someone likes how they turned out! Haha

@DaveLeekArt I've been thinking alot about that whole process of going overboard only to pull everything back. It kind of feels like the way that you simplify your process seems to define your style. I keep going through how to simplify what I'm doing, and I still feel like I'm in the weeds a lot

Uma has a cozy little spot on the top of a mountain with a beautiful view of the northern lights cascading across the dark sky.

This was a pretty nice exploration for me, since I draw complicated backgrounds only if I need to...About this!!
This is the Red Rock, home of the single horn Yeti tribe.
Their duty is to keep humans away from the Himalaiyas.They stay all together as a family,in their respective apartments and on top lives the great-granpa who is a bit on the edge.And is always grumpy and angry.
He always gives Winlow a really hard time.The red cliffs are supposed to be rare ancient rocks that are easy to penetrate and have encellent qualitites for holding the warmth in.
