You could give ‘Comic Lab’ a try. It’s run by Brad Guigar and Dave Kellet and it focusses mostly on the nuts and bolts of making and running a webcomic, but also touches on the topic of writing/telling stories and how to moneytize (?) your creative content. They do interviews as well with other artists which I find very insightfull.

Just binged every episode of book friends forever by alvina Ling (editor at little brown) and grace lin (Caldecott honor winner)
I think you’d really enjoy it because it’s less for people trying to break in/ giving tips and more about what’s going on in the industry. Lots of insight that I’ve never heard before on other podcasts!

You're up to your eyeballs in podcast recommendations already but I thought I'd add one. Make It Then Tell Everybody by Dan Berry is great. He interviews illustrators and comic artists. I think Dan has a very calming voice and there are no ads so it's great to listen to while working and not get irritated or distracted by it.

@Whitney-Simms I love Struthless too! Lots of very relatable topics (the "video for every creative person ever" is brilliant)!

Thank you everyone for sharing your favourite podcasts. I almost always need something in the background for me to focus on painting.
I have bookmarked this thread so I can come back to this whenever I need to find something new to listen. I do not think I will run out of something to listen for a very long time. -

@Kristin-Dudish he’s the best. I’ll go back and watch that one. I wish he was my neighbor. Then we could take about stuff at the mailbox and taking out the trash.

This thread is amazing.
I can't think of any other recomendations except the artcurious podcast which is a podcast about art history that I personally really enjoyed. (the only downside is that there are about 2 ads every episode that clash with the general atmosphere of the episodes).Despite only having one suggestion, I definitely was able to update my own reading/listening list with all your amazing suggestions. Thanks everyone!

@xin-li Another podcast suggestion here. I thought i'd recommend a podcast I did the sound design and sound recording on - The Lamps Go Out by Ethan Gutmann. It's about EMP (Electro Magnetic Pulse Effect). I got to travel around America recording Military generals, ex-CIA, Nuclear Silo Minute Men and preppers. Then when we got back me and my mate Rex Domino made the music and soundtrack for it using the sound recordings I collected on the tour. A deep dive into a secret world.
EMP. Something all digital artists need to be aware of...

Here are some of my favourites best podcast kit for beginners:
I really enjoy regularly listening to Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert. I also loved Dirty John (this was my first ever podcast). And also, Where Should We Begin with Esther Perel. -
Creative Rebels is the best podcast.

@j-sienkowski @xin-li Great question. I tried the Draftsmen podcast about a year ago and wasn't impressed. Too rambling. But about 4 months ago, I tried again, and I'm now totally hooked and loving it. I'm listening to it from the first episode to the present. I think it's an excellent compliment to SVS's Three Point Perspective. It has pointed me in the direction of many resources to help fill the gaps that SVS Learn leaves, 2 of which I'm now working through to improve my gesture drawing. Both podcasters, Stan Prokopenko and Marshall Vandruff, are excellent teachers and experienced artists. Marshal is probably 20 years older than Stan, so there's a good balance of experience & opinions. You can skip over the first couple of minutes-- they play rambling sound tests and it doesn't give a good first impression. Highly recommend.
