Pinterest Posting?

Does anyone post their own work on Pinterest? Is that even a thing? I've spent a fair amount of time scrolling for inspiration/reference/recipes there, but have never researched how those things end up posted there in the first place.

I have posted my art there but not many. I use Pinterest primarily for reference.

I've also posted some of my work there. I like to pin and will pin my travel photos as well. I also love to use it as a giant recipe box and pin any great recipe I come across..either on the Pinterest site itself, or random food sites.
You do that by adding the Pin app to your browser..I've had a lot of fun with it, but have really noticed an influx of scummy ad videos lately.
