After too many late night attempts of continuously submitting the wrong file I finally got there.. Yeti spaghetti from the Yeti Bros.

I thought I’d try an editorial spot illustration style. This prompt was a challenge, considering my Yeti is hermit-like and not flare-y at all, but I thought I could get away with letting the composition express what my character could not haha.
Yeti can survive with just eating ice as fuel, but tonight, he wanted to treat himself...
PS: He’s cooking Sinigang na Bangus In case you’re wondering
-
My Yeti is a quiet hermit, who is somewhat hobbit like. He enjoys a good stew and a hot cup of tea.
*After the last critique arena I’m not sure this will be enough wild “Yeti” for what the guys were hoping for, but I figure I better stick with the civilized hermit direction my yeti character started with.

'Sup SVS!
So many great illustrations... You guys and gals are such a talented and skilled bunch! At the risk of utter and complete defeat I'm throwing my first ever contest entry into the ring. As my favorite philosopher, the great Rocky Balboa, used to say, "...it ain't about how hard you hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward; how much you can take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!" Holding on to those wise words, here's my Yeti cooking up a (snow) storm...
Cheerio,

@donnamakesart love it !
-
@Aisleen thank you! It is traditional. Watercolor, pencil crayon and gouache! Then I removed the background when I scanned it.
-
@DaveLeekArt I love that there is so much flair/flare that the liquids in the stoppered bottles are also wiggling around
-
@donnamakesart Your entry makes me think of the intro and outdo to Monster's Inc.! So jazzy
-
Trying one more time... Here is my entry for the month.
-
@alicepelot thanks! I was wondering if people would read it that way or if it would look more like an error in physics haha
-
@Gabby-Correia I felt it made more sense to stick with my same yeti so I could build a little cohesive feel, although I’ve played around with a couple different styles for each so far.
-
Here is my entry for this month. I have been busy with other projects, and didn't get to do the last two months...but I wanted to get at least one Yeti in before the theme changes.
-
@Gabby-Correia I didn't do the last two contests, so I had to make it all up for this one. I think I will go back and do 5he other two, just for fun.
-
Thanks @ValD @alicepelot already looking forwrd to the next prompt haha
-
@donnamakesart I love this!

Grateful for svs classes and contests this year, I feel like I’m finally developing a sustainable style that fits my personality
