Hi from Germany :-)

Hello everyone, I have just landed here and would also like to introduce myself briefly. I live in Germany (so sorry for my from time to time maybe a little clumsy English!) and earn my bread with a pretty boring part-time job in a large company. The good thing about it, though, is that part-time has recently given me a certain amount of freedom to finally be creatively active. For example, I've been writing short stories for a while now (basically just for myself, but hey, it's fun ). Even as a child I wanted to become a comic artist - after all, I learned to read with comics. However, until my 40th birthday, I was simply not brave enough to start the adventure - but a few years ago I took the pen in my hand again and since then I finally write and draw again. And I have now finally made the resolution to develop a small portfolio of stories in words and pictures. Preferably in the area of fantasy and science fiction. I found the forum through the SVS, whose courses I find great - and the SVS in turn I found through the Inktober, in which I have never participated, but I think the idea is great and so I'm now just in the middle of the Inktober52 eigeststeigen. Let's see where it takes me. In any case, I was excited to see that there is a monthly task here and I would like to use it to improve my skills bit by bit and work on my portfolio. And of course I'm looking forward to exchange with like-minded people :-). So, and now I have to get a more detailed overview of what exactly belongs where and where I find what here.
