Sounds fun I don’t have a big following as I am fairly new to Instagram and don’t have many friends period lol so co hosting isn’t something that really interests me but if I have any ideas I’d be happy to share them with you!

@carlianne Awesome, we can come up with some prompts around 3-4 for an interesting theme and probably host it for a week in April, it's a fun way to build a portfolio and sharing artwork with people joining in.

May I ask: are you doing this as motivation or to hold yourself accountable?

There are similar illustration challenges already on Instagram. Folktale Week springs to mind. (I think it's held every December.) There's also the twice-yearly Childhood Week event hosted by Beatrice Blue, the next coming up in June 2021. These are hosted by bigger accounts, so if you are hoping to gain followers or for more eyes to see your work, you may want to consider participating in those.

@Melissa-Bailey-0 I always wanted to host a series challenge. Yes! I love folktale week and Childhood week but since they are not close by I thought why not host a mini-challenge myself with a group of illustrators, since nowadays even many small accounts are grouping in and hosting challenges, it is a nice way to build community, get a wider reach and share and see different interpretations of artworks as we build a portfolio.
