@lizardillo I think enduring your "hexagon hell" definitely turned out to be worth it! It's creative and so loveable!

@jdubz and @Melissa-Bailey-0 THANK YOU! I'm really inspired by both of your styles and processes, and your encouragement means a lot to me.

@marek-halko LOVE This! The details really make it, and the simple shapes really show them off.
@lizardillo You nailed this! It is so sweet.
@Kim-Rosenlof Your textures and colors are lovely here. Is it traditional media?

@DaveLeekArt and I just realized the challenge called for an โInnโ... not necessarily our travellerโs home - whoops! Guess it pays to not rush and submit last minute after glancing at the rules.

@Valerie-Light Thank you! I draw the with paper and pencil and then scan it in to clean up and color it in Photoshop. So half and half, I guess. I really haven't done a lot of traditional watercolor, so I prefer to do it on the computer so I can erase my errors. I wanted to redraw it because some stuff looked fine to me on paper, but once I colored it on the computer, the drawing didn't look like I wanted it to, and I didn't notice the mistakes as easily. I think that I should have sharpened my pencil more . It takes me a long time to get the illustration done because I draw it traditionally. I just haven't been able to recreate my pencil work digitally yet, so I am still doing it with pencil until I can figure out how to do it on the computer. I am excited for that day to happen. . Your Inn looks fantastic! So much detail. I love the grass roof and your witch silhouette. The lighting and all the characters are great too. Did you do it traditionally?
