Hi all - I'm looking for illustration flyer ideas. I've looked at some of the online flyer maker applications that provide pre-made flyers for all niches. How should I go about creating it? Is an online tool preferable or should I build it myself? I would appreciate any input you can provide.

The online site https://canva.com is an online layout program (free option available) that does a decent job. Unless you have a need for a real program like InDesign, it may be the best way to proceed.
