Hi, my name is Rob, I joined SVS 2 years ago. I live in Canada and a father to 3 kids. I love drawing and telling stories with my art, reading books and teaching my kids art. I like to work both traditionally and digitally. Lately I have been learning about composition to help tell a story.
At the beginning of signing up at SVSlearn, everything went well. I set up a time each day so I can focus on my art, learn something new and enjoy the creative process. However last year I had to slow down due to family issues, moving house, and starting a new job. But things have started to turn around and I am finding more time to do what I love.
I am hoping to be more present on this forum from now on in, finish courses that I have started on SVSlearn and work my own kid’s book.

@robbery Welcome, Rob! Life certainly throws us distractions, especially family and work (which are good causes for sure!). But now you're back. Congratulations and enjoy your progress!

@robbery Hello Rob! I am happy to hear that you have made some time to continue working on your creative path again. Sounds like things got a little hairy there for a little while, but it's great that you were able to work through all those life changes (moving and new job!? yesh!) and make your way back to doing something you really enjoy.
I went to your Instagram and it looks like you have a lot of fun involving your kiddos into your work! I think this is a great way to spark some continuous inspiration and wild imagination in your drawings. Hope you continue to doodle and learn here, and I look forward to seeing more of your work.

Welcome back @robbery I totally feel your struggle. I am a dad of four grown kids and life doesn’t slow down much when they grow up. Enjoy these moments and use them as your inspiration.
