I just checked the SCBWI’s regions (here, and I am surprised not to find the United Kingdom

@Geoffrey-Mégardon that’s very surprising. Here’s an idea though. The chapters are run by volunteers, I don’t know exactly how much work is required of them but if you wanted you could probably start up a UK chapter. Email whoever you can get in contact with at SCBWI and see what it would take to start up a chapter. Would also be a great way to network too I imagine. I know that’s a lot but just thought it was worth sharing.

@Griffin-McPherson yes, I need to check if there are people who tried that in the past. Would be a lot of work to advertise though.

haaaa yeah! I've got confused and thought that British Isles meant the Isle of Man ^^ And I thought "this is very weird they've got a SCBWI and not the UK".

@Geoffrey-Mégardon your question led me down this rabbit hole and I think I will still mix up all the different terms used to refer to different combinations of nations that are part of the British Isles. Ugh. Hahaha.
