      Hello everyone,

I feel like I’m in a bit of a creative slump. I have plenty of drawing ideas, but none of them are truly unique.

I was just wondering if any of you have found a place online with complex and weird prompts? Everything I see has just one-word prompts, or things that have been done a million times before.

This doesn’t need to be the kind of thing I’m using all the time. Rather, I want to just kick start my brain into gear on something new and challenging.

      TIA

@jvartandillustration the one word prompt really opens up to as creative as you're willing to make the story. So i would thumbnail until your at something unique and go from there.

I've quite enjoyed using Carson Ellis's 'Transmundane Tuesday' prompts every now and again. She used to post them weekly but I think it's once a month now. You can find them on her instagram feed or in her newsletter

It's fun to look through the hashtag for each prompt after you're done and see how different everyone's interpretations are 🙂

I got the prompt Cactus and Girls from a random word generator. I also am starting a cup I'm filling with random words to pull when I need an idea.

@jvartandillustration Something I've done before I make a list of 12 things I love drawing and 12 things I hate drawing. Then I roll 2 dice and I have to draw an illustration with a combination of the numbers rolled from each list. If you're feeling really creative you can add a third list with things like colors or emotions to really mix things up.
