Shadow Ball

hello. been working on this all week. I need feedback on what i need to improve. opacity is on. soft brush with 1% spacing, 0% hardness. not sure why I'm not getting the right balance of value of shadow. particularly contact shadow area and crescent/form shadow on the ball. maybe i pressed a little too hard with my stylus. i'm happy with overall local tone. thanks

@blackhound-rise attempt number 2. tried using air brush but ended up giving contact shadow a wavy form for beach ball.

@blackhound-rise I honestly think this looks pretty good. Maybe just soften the shadow on the first ball and make it’s local tone a tad lighter
