      Hello SVS community,

I recently signed up so I could up my illustration game. I also got contacted by a guy who expressed interest in buying a piece I completed last week. The sale ended up not taking place because I realized the guy was a scammer, but it got me thinking that maybe I'm good enough to sell some prints.

I've been drawing 5x7 spot illos in the Procreate Pocket app at print quality and I'd like to ask if anyone here can recommend a good service through which I can sell prints. I'm familiar with Red Bubble and Etsy, but I'm wondering if there other other, better options.

And for further context, here's the illo the scammer "wanted" to buy:

@Erick-Reilly I can't think of anything besides those that you already mentioned though there must be some others out there... but I like your art!

@MerryMary Thank you! I've seen a sampling of your art too and I can easily imagine it in a picture book. Thank you for your reply. I guess I'll continue to explore my options.

@Erick-Reilly I seem to be missing some context here, because no one mentioned any other printers, and I don't know if you want to do fulfillment yourself, but I can say I have ordered prints from Gango Custom printers in Portland, OR before, and they did a good job.

Some people do and mail their own prints. You might check out the websites of artists you like and see who they use, for starters.

And then there are those fulfill per order services such as Society Six, but I've heard quality suffers. I'm almost 100% certain that some past podcast or SVS YouTube has covered this (maybe it was called Opening an Online Shop?), but I can't point you directly to it, nor have I sold any prints myself yet.

            Good luck!

@LauraA This is very helpful. Yes, I was thinking of a print-on-demand service so I wouldn’t have to print it at home (I don’t have the best equipment for that). Thanks a bunch!
