Hello everyone!
I'm Mel, a German living in Luxembourg.
I always loved to draw (charcoal) and paint (oil) as a kid/teen but then didn't do any art for....almost 20 years.
Since last year I got back into it again and I'm having a lot of fun doing a lot of different things (polymer clay, drawing digitally and analog, painting in gouache and oil, embroidery, ....).I quit my manager job in 2020 because of burnout and didn't really know what to do then and was too scared to do what I always wanted: have an art career (or creative career in general, I love to switch between things and do something new every few months/years).
Atm I'm a fitness trainer, community manager for a game dev course, localizor for video games, active in a lot of art/creative communities, and trying to build an art business on the side.
For me, the business/marketing side is pretty easy since I studied both but I do procrastinate learning art (and especially more fundamentals) a lot with doing plans and stuff regarding business/marketing because there I already know what I'm doing
Looking forward to the classes on svslearn and get to know people and their art here
