Here are some game changers I’ve found helpful:

• Take all the courses and post homework assignments in the forum! Lots of self discipline and humility.
• Don’t skip the basics!
• Enter all the SVS challenges, critique arena, HTFYA, etc., feedback is a gift!
• Do lots of master copies, especially of your heroes!
• Children’s Book Pro is the best course on the internet!
• Ask for feedback in the forums
• Don’t get attached to your portfolio. Create and replace old art, often!
• Get professional portfolio reviews! Thanks @Lee-White
• Get thick skin and don’t take rejection personally
• Never stop learning!
• If you can afford it, get the HTFYA Book! It’s incredible!
• Give back and help others whenever possible.
• Your YouTube channel is a treasure trove of insights and honest advice!
