Hey everyone, glad to be here!
I am really excited about this community, I have been following the 3PP podcast since the beginning and have take several course here and there.
I have spent the last 5 years doing charcoal portraits and selling prints of my work at shows as well as doing commissions and showing in a few galleries.
I attended art college about 20 years ago for illustration but felt really unprepared and not ready to compete in the market. I've spend my time after school as a graphic designer primarily doing photoshop work (color correcting, editing, etc.) for magazines.
I'm really hoping to reinforce the skills I have and really learn the aspects of Illustration that I didn't really understand all those years ago.

@scotthigginsart If you were to make a picture book, would it be in a similar style and medium as your portrait work? Because it could be really cool, like Chris Van Allsburg's books.

@kayleenartlover Hi! I'm not sure I am really going to try and see if I can do that style digitally, right now that has all been done traditionally. I think it would be a cool look but we'll see if I can get it to translate!
