      Hi all,

First post on SVS, and any comments welcome. Watched a few of the classes and then wrote a text prompt to get started. I worked through thumbnails, and a few sheets of character design before working on the final. Pencils and some photoshop.

Welcome! Looking good. From the looks of the piece the animals are outside of the barn, i would kill that light source from inside the barn and darken that area. My eye is keeps going back to that light source. It is also right in the center of the piece which I struggle to see the characters.

Looks great for a first illustration after watching the classes! Keep it up! I like the composition very much. It's hard work being an illustrator.

@Chip-Valecek Hey. Thanks for the reply. Yes I agree that section could use some work. I'll try it out with a darker background.

@Marsha-Kay-Ottum-Owen Thanks Marsha. Hoping to do a lot more illustrations in this style and improve a lot along the way.
