Hello everyone!
My name is Keisha and I’ve taken a handful of the SVS classes but never seemed to make it to the forums til now! I’m excited to learn from others and have a place to share and talk about illustration. A little bit about me, I went to school for illustration and graduated with a BFA. I’m currently a full-time illustrator in the t-shirt design industry but my heart and passion will always be children’s books! Children’s books is where I’m looking to make the switch to full-time and my goal for this year is to create a rock-star portfolio and attend the SCBWI LA conference! Welcome! Sounds like you have set some great creative goals. Hope that you enjoyed the SCBWI conference. I have attended our regional conference and it was so inspiring to be in a hotel full of creatively charged individuals. The first one is like a springboard... and makes the second one a lot easier.
