Hey, so I created these 4 pages based on a short, silly poem I made up πŸ™‚

I wanted to showcase different styles, but also show storytelling ability and character continuity.

Any feedback is much appreciated, but I'm also curious which style is your favorite and why to get an idea of what has the best appeal to most people. Thanks!

I actually like the second page style best- line work is nice and consistent, the style is legible and engaging. I like the camera angle as well.

For me too, the second is the one I like most. But I have seen all of these in childrenΒ΄s books, so it is more a matter of your personal level of satisfaction in working in any of these.
          Nice poem, BTW!

I totally agree with Simona. Each are great but a style that makes you feel happy and satisfied is most important. That being said I do have to say, 3 is my fav followed by 2. Great level of detail and texture. Plus your colors are vibrant and well balanced.

I love anything with line work in it so for me I really enjoy #2. And the poem is great. Nice work.

It's interesting that most of you guys like page 2 because that's the style I'm most comfortable with/do most of my work in. Cool!

Thanks so much for all the feedback/input so far! πŸ™‚

These are all great, so it's a tough one, but I'd say I like 1 & 3 the best - I'm also a fan of the painterly style πŸ™‚

#3 is probably your best bet in terms of making images that publishers will want. It's also a good mix between painting and line work which will make the illustrations go much faster than some of the other styles.
