My Inktober Thread
-
Here is my first entry- I had this sketched out in pencil and ready to go, so it's not like I slammed this out super fast. I used a Kuretake brush pen for some of the outlining and solid blacks, most of the shading was sone with Copic multiliners. I really want to be more comfortable with the brush pen at the end of the month

Here is day 3:
I used a Papo figure for reference on this- I really enjoy using their figures. Plus, it gives me an excuse to buy more dinosaur toys
-
Wow! Beautiful inking and drawing!

@Marsha-Kay-Ottum-Owen Thanks so much!

Here is day 4, this is the image I had asked about whether it was suitable here.
-
@Tyler-Blake How dare you post such an image! LOL Looks great to me. I would love to see this guy colored.
-
@Chip-Valecek Haha! Thanks Chip! I will definitely be coloring him, actually I have plans to color many of these Inktober drawings:) And here is Day 5:
-
@Tyler-Blake This is a great one, he could be the Great Pumpkin. A story we use around my house on Halloween if you put all your candy (you can keep a few pieces) on the front porch the great pumpkin will come and take it and leave you a gift. This way we don't have tons of candy in the house. The kids get a gift they want and then I donate all the candy.
-
@Chip-Valecek That's a good idea! They still get the fun of trick or treating that way too. I think when I was a kid I did think of this as the Great Pumpkin from Peanuts My mom made me a costume similar to this when I was little, I loved it. She made the pumpkin head out of paper mache and the cloak was a bedsheet. In my mind, I looked just like my drawing
