Using pastels creating animals

Here's a piece I made for a friend. Ive used pastels, and finished up in Photoshop. Any suggestions for improvement before sending it? the other ones I've made recently are these

Lynne Chapman is an artist who works in pastels, I think she has a few videos too on her process/tips and may have tips on handling edges etc. It is a tough medium and I think you are off to an awesome start. Really cute charaters!

Super cute! My only thought is that the loop of vine the monkey is hanging on should be taut-looking from his weight pulling it down (unless I am misunderstanding somehow.) But everything is very cute and I love the softness of the pastels--it only enhances the cuteness.
