Mouse Queen and Spectacle Guy

Hope everyone is not sick of my Wizard of Oz pieces - but here is yet another(got a lot done on these snow days!) This is the Mouse Queen that helps to save the Cowardly Lion form the poppy field - think i'm close to finish on this - but i think i'm not seeing it clearly anymore and cannot see the obvious anymore - any feedback would be much appreciated

Here is the start of the next character for The Wonderful Wizard of Oz - he is the little fellow that locks green tinted spectacles onto your head (even if you are a little dog) as you enter the City of Emeralds

They are both striking and beautiful - these must be my favorites of the series so far!

That is great to hear really - i felt lost for so long on these two - i'm still having trouble with the Good Witch of the North so i decided to work on some others - i've started the five eyed, five armed, five legged, hair covered, rhinoceros faced aspect of the Wizard of Oz...... it is proving to be especially challenging ... if it were an assignment it might be title "make a good character sketch out of this bad character design" ... at least that is how it is seeming right now
