100 trees challenge
-
Thank you @Dulcie! I also totally fell in love with the autumn colors. I am really motivated to make an autumn landscape soon.
-
Hi, guys! This time I tried some of these weirdly cutted park trees. I guess they are called boxwood in english? In German we call it Buchsbaum. I always liked them in Disneys Sleeping Beauty. There are plenty of these cubic trees. What do you think?
-
@Jana Very interesting take on your previous trees. My favorite is the first one!
-
@drawingmelee Thanks a lot. I also like the first best
-
Hi! I tried a winter tree today. Does that work? What do you think?
-
@Jana I am really enjoying following along. I love the recent set of boxwood's and I love this winter one even more. Really fun and beautiful designs!
-
@Rich-Green Thank you, Rich! That means a lot to me. You guys are really super motivating. I am happy that I can share this with you.
I didn't expect that I will enjoy this challenge so much. Since I am doing it, I have noticed that I look different at trees around me. When I walk home from my lab, I often wonder how would I draw this or that kind of tree. -
O wow, my new favorite!
-
@Jana Hi Jana! Isn't it a wonderful thing to realize that you are starting to look at the world around you differently because your art? I had a very similar realization around this time last year when I stopped and paid close attention to snow and all of the colors it really is. Or the colors of clouds and so on. All of these little details your mind was so used to before and casually glanced over, are now key details for your next illustration piece and so on.
It is really fun to see you exploring this in your wonderful tree designs!
-
I love following your trees thank you for sharing
-
Thank you Lisa!
Sharing them here is boosting the whole challenge a lot. I don't know if I would be so motivated without all the kind comments here. -
Hi guys! Here is my tree number 15. I tried another more detailed trimmed boxtree.
Unfortunately, these trees don't change their color nicely in autumn, so no fall version this time.
-
Here is another boxtree version. This time a cubic again. Tree number 16.
-
Tree number 17 is again an autumn version, late autumn this time.
I plan to intergrate some of these last trees into my Earle adaptation, to test how these guys work in a complete picture.
-
I love the crisp, clean style that your doing these in. I'm looking forward to seeing more tree!
-
Luckily, also limes are trimmed into nice shapes in parks, so finally I could do my fall colored park tree!
Here is tree number 18.
-
With number 19 I tried a young birch for a more spring feeling in this damned cold winter which is going on here right now.
-
@Ed-O Thank you, Ed! I am trying to keep up till I fulfill the 100.
So far it has been really fun and I hope I donβt run out of ideas. -
Here is tree number 20. Again a spring version.
-
With tree number 21 I tried a hazelnut tree, more summer this time.
