        @Marsha-Kay-Ottum-Owen hi, it does look much better, but i think you still need to brighten it more (unless its just a dark photo). Also his forehead needs warmer shadow and not grey. I really like the chickens tho 🙂

          Thanks. It does look warmer in real life. If I was a better photographer or could figure out my scanner it would be better 🙂 I might have stuck a bit of blue in there though. I'll keep working on it. It's just a practice for now, anyway. Thanks for your input!

            @Marsha-Kay-Ottum-Owen no problem:)
            The best way to photograph a pic, is outside in a soft daily light and in fact with a phone;) If you have a proper camera, you can also try to put ot inside a white box (make it from print paper or smth).

              @aska Thank you for the tip. My son has a white box. He does photography for products he sells on ebay. He's just so busy that I never ask if I can use it 🙂 I will have to try the outdoor method with my phone.

                @Marsha-Kay-Ottum-Owen wow, looking at you viking picture, i did not realise that you have an adult son. I love when people dont give up on their dreams. I think your chickens are very funny and you should defenietly colour it and 🙂 However you could work on main character a bit, cause while chickens are quite fluffy and round, he looks a bit flat. At this moment, Iam also workng on improving my characters, so they look more 3D. Good luck:)

                  @aska Thanks. I have always had flat looking characters. Not sure why. When I do realistic drawing I seem to get it rounder but, maybe I can do something with the painting to round him out...I hope!
