@Charlie-Eve-Ryan this is really great. I have been working on construction vehicles, and whenever I take my son to the book store I always end up looking at this book. I love the artists work in the two books. Thanks for posting this.

          Great, thanks for sharing @Charlie-Eve-Ryan!
The author and illustrator were recently on All the Wonders podcast - http://www.allthewonders.com/podcasts/sherri-duskey-rinker-and-tom-lichtenheld-all-the-wonders-episode-327/ I really enjoyed that interview. It's interesting to hear about their very collaborative process.

Tom came to our SCBWI conference a couple years ago. Such a nice guy. He took us step by step through the book and all the different concepts and mediums he went through before getting to final. It was amazing. 🙂

Really informative - thanks for sharing this @Charlie-Eve-Ryan ! Did I read it correctly that he uses crayons for the coloring? That is unbelievable!

So awesome! I also really enjoyed the inverview on ATW awhile ago. The crayon texture is awesome. Its good to see how many variations on an idea they went through before deciding on the final version.

Thanks for sharing! The Construction Site books are my nephew's favorites, so it's super cool to know the artistic process behind them!
