@Will-Terry I feel the same! My hubby cracks me up because he says he would know your voices anywhere from hearing them so often in the background from all the classes I've taken. It feels like sitting across from an old friend. I think it is part of what makes SVS feel so special. 😃

Thank you all again so much! My heart is full of all your kind words. We leave bright and early in the morning. I'm the first person on the OR schedule so my doc and his team will have fresh eyes and hands.

PS I can't have meat, bread, alcohol or chocolate for 12 weeks... it is going to be a long summer.

SVS will be a much-needed distraction! LOL

Thank you all! I am home from the hospital. The surgeon said the surgery went wonderfully. He had a bunch of people in there observing and learning from him because I am an unusual case.

So now I am on a clear liquids only diet for a week, then full liquid, then soft foods for a while and slowly back to a normal diet over 12 weeks.

It takes a long time to heal and all the swelling to go down.

Home resting and on morphine for pain, so a little loopy. 😛

Thanks again!! We are very relieved with how everything went and turned out.

Thanks all again so much! I had several rough days with severe radiating left shoulder pain that is associated with abdominal surgeries, it felt like I was hit in the shoulder with a sledgehammer. I had to sleep in my recliner because it was the only way I could get even remotely comfortable.

The pain finally dissipated and I am drawing for the first time again today, along with my first milkshake after a week of clear liquids only. So yeah for small victories! I have my music on and I'm feeling pretty good! 😃
