It can be a maid, or a man, or whatever floats your boat really. It just has to be Mer.
Post your best MerThing in the SVS Forum (if you don't already have a user account for the forum, you will need to create one). Look for the thread titled NEW MONTHLY CONTEST!! MERMAIDS! (MERMEN!)
One entry per person
File size no more than 1200 pixels on the longest side
Only submit if you are OK with us splashing your image across our social media (you will get credit of course!)
Post by May 31st

Prizes:

First place gets one month subscription free and the chance to illustrate the art for a future contest!
2nd runner-up gets an SVS t-shirt
3rd runner-up gets bragging rights

Hi guys, my name's James. First time posting! I sketched this on paper, thinking that a mermaid should have proportionally larger hands and tail then we're used to seeing. I colored it digitally in about 20 minutes

@jameswulfe I think it needs to be a jpg or png. It looks like yours is a PDF which is for print usually. Hope that helps! Nice mermaid! I dig it.
