Color study {FINISHED IT!}
-
@katrina-fowler I really like it! I think you could tweak the values a bit more, though. I desaturated it and there isn't a very high contrast anywhere, so it's hard to know where to focus.
-
@withlinesofink Good call! I always forget about Value and plunge ahead with color. Here I've tweaked in BnW and I like it much better. Now on to another color study...
-
@katrina-fowler I like how you've changed the background as well. Much more dynamic.
-
Digital color study for this piece. It will be a challenge to see if I can do watercolor. Might go acrylic too.
-
@katrina-fowler I love this!
-
Finished Image. Media used: very watery acrylic, white pen and a little digital.
-
@katrina-fowler This turned out great!
-
@withlinesofink Thanks! I kind of like it. Really is different from my digital stuff.
-
Really love your style.
-
Love this! Love the colors, love the style. Well done!
-
@katrina-fowler this turned out great I love it

Amazing piece! From the first couple I thought it was going to be a horror piece. It still has a level of creepy to it, but her face is so sweet looking. Great work.
-
@rhirsch @Kat @ambiirae Thanks you guys!
@Chip-Valecek Yeah... it did feel that way in the sketch but once I got painting it all these bright colors came out. I decided to leave the creepy and go for more mystical/wizardy and added some nicer eyes. Thanks for the feed back.

@katrina-fowler This turned out much different than expected! Those flying lint balls would make me nervous as well. Very cool image.
