So...I've been working on pattern work on the side and I came up with some halloween designs. One of my professor suggested I look into having the, being sold on products, which would look really good in my portfolio. I'm pretty nervous though. I've never really tried to put my work out there like that.

Anyone have any thoughts? I have one pattern down and below is WIP of the other.

They are cute - I love this minimalistic style! You can load them in Society 6 - costs nothing and you could make some money.

Or Zazzle. Actually, there are tons of products on Zazzle you could try. But be warned that selling on any of these sites is very competitive. One design only in your Zazzle store may not sell, not because it's bad, but because it's buried in the marketplace. If you have a fan base, you can market your products to them and have a better chance of selling things.

@kat Thank you for that info! I don't really have a fan base yet. I may just leave it out there. Maybe this can at least help me start? If I can at least get people to look at my stuff that'll be helpful. Thanks again, Kat!

@smceccarelli Thank you! I put them on RedBubble earlier. I'll make an account for Sociey 6 as well. Thank you, smceccarelli!

You may find some interest as well on stick photo sites with that style. They look for illustrations as well as photos. I've dabbled and made a few credits. Less likely hood of being buried that way because key wording is more important.
