Sorry it doesn't have my name on it. I had some trouble with writing it in photoshop and uploading it here (file too big). I'm not trying to be negative but I am still learning and don't expect to be up at the top yet....so, I don't think it matters too much if my name is on it. I'll just share it anyway. Hope that is okay. The original has been turned in to class. Thanks.

@lee-white I think my favorite is the moon peaking out from the trees by the window and the dancing scene Looks like a fun book!

I normally do character driven cartoony style illustrations so this was a bit of a departure for me. I went to Colonial Williamsburg at the beginning of November and tried to capture some of the atmosphere, architecture, and palette from there. (I posted my process on another thread.) Done on an iPad Pro with digital pastels in Procreate.

My homage to Barbara Cooney. I reworked a portfolio piece I wasn't quite happy with, so it was nice to spend some more time with it.

Very nice

My Painting based on the Jack the Giant Killer/slayer story. I can't resize the image or add my name though because my computer has died... I spent most of my time working out the composition then I just went for it. Probably my best painting to date so I'm very happy
Painted in oils by Jason Bowen

@laurel-aylesworth Nice! Did you post this before in it's old state? I seem to remember this composition.

I loved participating in Slowvember! I've been so caught up in work and school. This was an awesome way to pass my free time and distress. I was able to play around without feeling rushed. Pacing myself and taking my time resulted in a much more polished piece!

I finally finished my Slowvember!
Wow I learned so much with this challenge, Zac Retz's video about lighting was so insightful. -
I've just realised it's 1st of Dec tomorrow, which is in 1 hour where I come from! I am so happy I don't have more time to keep working on my image I've spent hours on it, trying to do it while watching SVS course on Light and Color.
So here it is a clumsy red elephant, who loves music and managed to sneak into cheetah's theatre. Why cheetah? Inspiration comes form Peter Bence - one of the quickest piano players in the world

@aska really cool. You might want to check out the new book from candlewick called "The Bear and the Piano" It has a similar feel and is a great read.
-
@lee-white thank you, it means a lot to me! I will check this book for sure

My final version of my piece. I stated in my WIP thread that my computer really began to lag when getting into the effects and multiple layers. It's a bit frustrating but I have new PC parts on the way!

With an hour left on this slowvember, Pop Pop Squirrel has finally finished storing food away for winter.

This is my mouse who goes on all sorts of little adventures in my drawings, he is always traveling somewhere but I don't know where. I don't know what to call it yet, since no pun-iful title has come to mind. I did this in watercolor, pastels, colored pencil, and ink on hot press, 10"by 20".
