Christmas is coming soon ;-)

Hi everyone!
Last year I made these illustrations for Christmas greeting cards. I tried to leave the shapes simple and clean.
What do you think?

I like the cutout version the most, though I would have the edges of the pieces turned up a little to make it look more realistic. Nice work.

Super fun concept!
I hope you don't mind, but I thought I'd do a drawover just to show some problems with the pose. It just doesn't quite feel like you're showing enough energy in the pose. I simplified the character a bit, but I think the adjusted pose could still work with the design you have.
Again, I love this little ant guy. He's a lot of fun.

Ah nice work @jake parker, the draw overs do have feel of more effort the ant is having pulling the parcel, his expression helps so much.

@Jana Very cute design! I don't even want to think about christmas yet hehe. I love the one with the snowman

Thanks, guys, for the feedback!
@jake-parker Thank you so much, Jake, for spending your precious time on my little ant. It is amazing, how your changes of the pose improve the message dramatically! That is awesome. I will definitively try to give this little guy a bit more energy before Christmas.
As a biologist I have to say: An ant with teeth...??? Just kidding, the teeth are what made me laugh most!@Steve-Young The idea is great, Steve. For sure, I will try how it looks if I bend some pieces outwards. Thanks.
@Lynn-Larson Usually, I love to think about Christmas, but every year it turns out to be super busy. This year, I try to start thinking about it earlier... maybe it helps.

@jake-parker My husband just commented on my comment about the teeth:
"As a human being I have to say: "An ant with a hand-knitted cap... ? Hmmm." LoL
