Why does my illustration in Ipad look different on laptop?

Hi, guys! First, I would like to thank the people who helped me decide to buy an iPad pro last year. I just want to let you now that I've finally bought one and am having a great time painting with it. However, I have a problem. When using the iPad, my illustrations are in their right colors but when viewed using my laptop, it looks very dull. DO you guys know what's happening? Do you know how to fix this?

I haven't used the iPad Pro, but I would guess it would be your monitor or iPad screen. Each monitor has different settings on how they show color. Have you tried grabbing a picture from the laptop and seeing it on your iPad?

@nyrryl-cadiz This happened in my photoshop design class all the time. When shown on the projector screens up front they looked completely different from the computer screen. Something about the settings was different.

Yes, the callibration might be the problem here. Try to see the illustration on a third device, to check if the computer or the iPad is the one giving you inaccurate colors.

Also, make sure to check you're working on RGB mode (and exporting on RGB). If you export on CMYK, the colors are gonna look funny on a device.

I also work on a Ipad pro. On mine, the color calibration is pretty much perfect, however, the image looks much brighter on the Ipad vs my computer. I think it's simply because of how bright the screen of the Ipad actually is... I didn't find how to fix it, but I now try to reduce my screen's brightness to 75% -80% when I work. Seems to correlate better to computer screens....
