FEBRUARY CONTEST
-
@marsha-kay-ottum-owen thanks
-
An old one, and not suitable for this contest anyhow...but couldn't keep from posting it. Octopus are a recurrent thing in my illustrations (don't ask me why....).
-
@smceccarelli Awwww adorable!
-
So I am trying to learn Procreate and I used this as inspiration. I am using an Ipad 3 and 53 pencil.. I do not have a Ipad pro or Ipencil! So what do you think ? [alt text](image url)

Hmm, I’ve never posted before so looks like I’m doing something wrong as I only see html code
-
@smithadams I like it.
-
@msarginsonart I was just going to say that I can't see your post. Sometimes mine won't post if it's too big of a file but I get a message pop up. If I put the image on facebook and then download it and repost by sliding it up from the bottom, it works. I don't know why or how I figured that out but....until someone that has an answer for you sees your post, you could try it
I look forward to seing it!

@marsha-kay-ottum-owen thanks, I’ll give that a try!

“Unexpected help from an unexpected friend” - A friendly octopus helping a young boy with his unsuccessful fishing trip.
-
Dorotea Lanza - @Amaranthineart
Hope you like it. -
I really like the Octopus theme because you can get a lot of movement with the tentacles, and point to things of importance. Any critiques are welcome and appreciated. ~ Johanna

This is for the Octopus contest - a fun one!
-
clever
-
@orsi this is so visually appealing to me—not sure if it’s the colors, the focus
, the composition, but it’s an illustration that pulls me back to this page to look again
-
@johanna-kim very nice! I really like the transparency of the octopus and your ability to create a believable environment (I always have persoecyive-envy!)
-
@cassie-chancy who knew that octopi (is that the plural?) were capable of such emotion? Your illustration draws me right to the heart of their relationship
