Hi all! I was looking into a company that makes prints and they mentioned making sure that the color on your monitor is calibrated. I am working on a hp. Short of buying a new computer does anyone have recommendations for or experience with calibration hardware? Here are three that I am looking into: X-Rite i1Display Pro - Display Calibration (EODIS3) X-Rite ColorMunki Display (CMUNDIS) Datacolor Spyder5EXPRESS – Designed for Hobbyist Photographers (S5X100)

There are a number of utilities freely available that will get your monitor pretty well calibrated. Here is a good article that should get you going - https://www.cnet.com/how-to/how-to-calibrate-your-monitor/ A calibrated monitor is only as accurate as the light source hitting and around your monitor. Good article here https://digital-photography-school.com/be-aware-of-the-light-source-hitting-your-screen/ If I were you I would avoid buying the calibration devices and first use the above tools and then order a couple of prints and see how things match up. You may find you don;t need to spend hundreds of dollars. I know you are on a pc but for those on a mac it has a great utility built into the monitor control panel.
