It happens occasionally, but is mostly due to me accidentally touching one of the side buttons on the Cintiq, I believe. Could that be the case?

@smceccarelli no, I even went in a disabled all the side buttons and pen buttons. I'm emailing Wacom support to see what they say

@rcartwright Latest windows update is the cause. I was going nuts friday night with this same thing. I finally found this article and it worked for me. https://www.reddit.com/r/Windowsink/comments/8508fi/controlling_pen_behavior_in_windows_10

@chip-valecek - Chip I had the same issuse on Thursday night after my Wacom updated. After much searching, I found articles online about MIcrosoft updates being the issue. On my tablet the update would not allow me to "uninstall" so I had to do a recovery of my previous restore point to get things back to normal. Then I found an article on how to prevent automatic Windows 10 updates (requires you to add a registry key) so I can hold off on that update until a fix is found. Any idea's how we will know if a fix is found and can start updating again?

@rich-green If you run that regedit you can keep your updates on. Once they fix the issue you can turn off the regedit that you added.

Thank goodness you posted this. I am having the same exact issues. Whenever I zoom in my pen acts as a move tool.

Hi All - Wacom posted today that the Windows 10 April update resolved our issue. You can find the info on it here: https://www.wacom.com/en-us/support?linkId=51131044&guideTitle=Why-is-the-pen-scrolling-instead-of-drawing-or-selecting-everything-in-Windows%253F&guideId=c0fbe8d4-d7b5-41ec-93c8-368cf9dfe2d7

I just finished the update and turned Windows Ink options back on in my Wacom control panel. And all seems to be working fine in Photoshop for me!
